Channel ferry company in administration
Speedferries, the budget priced cross-channel ferry company which operated the Dover to Boulogne route, has gone into administration and all services have been suspended. Their vessel, SpeedOne, was recently seized by the French port authorities. It is understood that the administrators are trying to sell the business as a going concern.

MTH Autogas
We hear that MTH Autogas have closed. The Forest of Dean based supplier of refillable LPG cylinders and
tanks are uncontactable by phone and their premises at Lydney
appear abandoned. It is unclear whether they have actually ceased trading or are moving to an alternative location.
A B Butt
The well known Leicester based auto-electrical and solar power specialist has ceased trading. They were a frequent exhibitor at motorhome shows and had been operating in Leicester since 1917
British motorhome stolen in Spain
1997 Fiat Hymer C644, reg No P992 EAB, stolen in eastern Spain 21st October, complete with the owners dog and cat.

Knaus Insolvency
The Knaus Tabbert Group, German manufacturers of motorhomes and caravans, has gone into administration. A refinancing deal with the banks failed and as from October 9th the company is insolvent. It is understood that a state rescue plan may be
put forward to try to ensure the continued existence of the company.

TB Turbo
T.B (Turbos) Ltd, who have been operating from their premises in Port
Royal Avenue, Lancaster for over 25 years, have gone into into liquidation.
The company, well known and respected for its vehicle servicing and
performance services, is being administered by JM Marriott & Co, based
in Queen Street, Lancaster, who will be issuing a report to all
creditors in due course.
